Important Facts To Remember…

Smithfield Farms, the largest pork producing farm in the
USA was sold in September to China with the unanimous
support of its stockholders!! The hogs will still be raised
here, but slaughtered and packaged for sale there before
being sent back here. This includes labels of Morrell,
Eckrich, Krakus, Cudahy , Premium Hams, Cook’s,Gwaltney,
The same with many chickens. They can now be shipped there,
but when they comeback all that needs to be labeled is that
they WERE RAISED IN THE USA . Not that they were processed
in China !!! Our great FDA at work again. The chickens will
be all processed and most sold to fast food restaurants for
sandwiches, along with schools and supermarkets. The China
slaughter and processing are not nearly equal to the
requirements here.

*BAD FOOD.*We recently learned that Star-Kist Tuna is
now owned by Korea , and is in big conflict with the U. S.
concerning quality, safety, and records, which Korea refuses
to produce.

Read several articles on Google about this, and even one
that was defending the eating of tilapia said to avoid the
fish that came from China .? Also I had just returned home
from buying Albertson’s 4-day special of 4 bags of
frozen tilapia for the price of one. Sure enough, on the top
of the bags, it read “farm raised”, and on the
bottom in small print it said, “ China ” read all the
way down…

Recently a Food inspector on TV… said he had lived
overseas and he had seen the filthy conditions their foods
are raised and processed in. It is enough to make you throw
up. Some foreign workers have to wear masks as they work in
these places; because the food is so rotten and filthy, it
makes them want to throw up. Many of their fish on Fish
Farms are fed raw sewage daily. He said he has seen so much
filth throughout their food growing and processing that he
would “never” eat any of it. They raise this
filth, put some food coloring and some flavorings on it, and
then they ship it to the USA & Canada for YOU to consume
and feed to YOUR families. They have no Food & Safety
Inspectors. They ship it to you to buy and poison your
families and friends.

garlic in the world; U. S. is next.

*Buy only local honey *, much honey is shipped in huge
containers from China and re-packed here.

Cold-FX is grown and packed in China and is full of fecal
bacteria. Doesn’t work anyway, big scam.
If the country of origin is not clearly marked

If produce, ask an employee. Watch out for packages which
state “prepared for”, “packed by” or
“imported by”. We don’t understand the lack of
mandatory labeling, especially the produce.

The country of origin should be clearly shown on the item in
the store.
Go to the local farmers’ markets in season and keep a
wary eye open the rest of the year. Please read this very
carefully, and read to the very bottom. It’s important
for all of us.

How is it possible to ship food from China cheaper than
having it produced in the U. S. or Canada ?


Beware, Costco sells canned peaches and pears in a plastic
jar that come from China .


*Recently The Montreal Gazette had an article *by the
Canadian Government on how Chinese feed the fish: They
suspend chicken wire crates over the fish ponds, and the
fish feed on chicken shit.

If you search the internet about what the Chinese feed their
fish, you’ll be alarmed; e. g, growth hormones, expired
anti-biotic from humans. Never buy any type of fish or
shellfish that comes from these countries: Vietnam , China ,
Philippines .

Check this out; Seinfeld’s Pickles are made in India –
just as bad! Another example is in canned mushrooms. No-Name
brand came from Indonesia … Also check those little fruit
cups. They used to be made in Canada in the Niagara region
until about 2 years ago. They are now packaged in China. Most
sold in Aldi stores.

While the Chinese export inferior and even toxic products,
dangerous toys, and goods to be sold in North American
markets, the media wrings its hands!

Yet, 70% of North Americans believe that the trading
privileges afforded to the Chinese should be suspended.
Well, duh! Why do you need the government to suspend trading


Simply look on the bottom of every product you buy, and if
it says ‘Made in
China ‘ or ‘PRC’ (and that now includes Hong
Kong ), simply choose another product, or none at all. You
will be amazed at how dependent you are on Chinese products
and you will be equally amazed at what you can do without.


If 200 million North Americans refuse to buy just $20 each
of Chinese goods, that’s a billion dollar trade
imbalance resolved in our favor… fast! The downside? Some
Canadian/American businesses will feel a temporary pinch
from having foreign stockpiles of inventory.

Just one month of trading losses will hit the Chinese for 8%
of their North American exports. Then they will at least
have to ask themselves if the benefits of their arrogance
and lawlessness are worth it.

intelligent, and NOBODY can take us for granted. *Start
reading labels now and buy safe food, it cost a few cents more.*

Are Cell Phones Bad For Your Health?

Smart PhoneSince more than half of the cell phone emission studies are funded by Cell phone manufacturers, it won’t be too difficult to guess who controls what little of these studies get release to the consuming public.  It’s a known fact cell phones emit Radio Frequency (RF) energy, which research studies have proven to be harmful.  Yet manufacturers downplay the health issues, and suppress results of the studies.

No one believes this revelation would change consumer habits.  It certainly won’t.  The cell phone has become a must-carry gadget you don’t leave home without. If even science had proven cell phones did cause brain cancer, consumers would choose what they believe to be the safest brand…  perhaps, one with a low specific absorption rate (SAR).

Though some safety measures published by phone makers sound like marketing pitches,  e.g., use only accessories supplied and approved by this maker,  they all provide valuable safety information that should not be taken likely.  So please read your manual carefully.

There is a 1.6 watt-per-kilogram SAR limit set by the FCC. But a phone can easily exceed that limit if held close to the body while it is transmitting, or been operated in an area with poor signal, causing the phone to work harder.  The safest distance a cell phone should be held away from the body varies by manufacturer.  But all manufacturers emphasized using non-metal belt clips, hands-free headsets, instead of carrying the phone in your pocket, holding it to your head, respectively, as highly recommended ways to maintain that safe distance.

The National Institute of Health has discovered from one of their studies, that a 50-minute conversation on a cell phone held next to your ear, changes brain activity in the area of the brain closest to the phone.  While the International Agency for Research on Cancer declared in 2011 that cell phones may cause cancer in humans.

Several research studies conducted not only in Britain, but around the world, have shown that young men who are constantly exposed to cell phone emissions because of frequent usage, have severely reduced their sperm count.  “Sperm exposed to mobile phone radiation in the lab, is sicker, thinner, and less capable of swimming.” said notable research scientist, Devra Davis.  “If you take young men who are trying to become fathers, those who use mobile phones at least four hours a day have about half the sperm count of others.”

United Kingdom’s Office of National Statistics found a 50 percent increase in frontal and temporal lobe tumors in children between 1999 and 2009.  There is great speculation as to the cause.  But many researchers believe it to be cell phone radiation emissions.

Children are extremely vulnerable to cell phone radiation, since their bodies absorb twice as much microwave as adults, says Joel Moskowitz, director of the center for Family and Community Health at the University of California, Berkley.  An animal study published in March 2012 by the Yale University linked changes in the brain to radiation from cell phones.

Grasp hold of whatever safety information made available by cell phone makers and other independent  resources, and use it to make your mobile experience a much safer one.

Nonscientific evidence of true aphrodisiac sex existed for thousands of years. Some of it is true, but most of it false and sometimes hazardous to the health of the male.

The word aphrodisiac has come to describe any potion, food, herb, scent or other substances, (few of them support true aphrodisiac sex), that arouse sexual desires.

Named after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of sexual love and beauty, the list of sexual stimulants can have a range from the sophistication of Spanish Fly to the simplicity of green garden celery.

Calorie restriction without malnutrition is a bold dietary concept in human longevity. The theory, originated from aging research studies, exploits undernutrition for the purpose of preserving the physical processes in a more youthful state.

Calorie restriction with optimal nutrition is all about making important nutritional choices. Low-calorie, high-nutritional foods are selected over foods high in carbohydrates and sugars. The average number of calories consumed daily by a typical adult is around 2000-3000. While a restricted dieter is limited to between 1200-2000.

There are tremendous benefits attained for preserving the physical structure and functionality of the human body. Think of all the things you’ll still be able to do, mentally, physically and sexually, because you conquered aging.

Without CR, new nutrients are constantly being created, while older nutrients are not expended quickly enough. Peyronie’s Disease: Curved Penis

What causes a curved penis is pretty much speculation. For reasons that are not clear, a thick scar develops in the penis, which prevents blood flow into the spaces (small openings within the smooth muscle) in that area of the penis. With no blood flowing into the spaces, the organ cannot expand. Thus causing the penis to curve or bend toward the scar.

Three of every hundred men suffer from peyronie’s disease, and experience penile pain during normal sexual intercourse, or when the curved penis becomes erect. One percent of all men with peyronie’s disease develop scars across the palms of their hands… a condition known as Dupuytren’s contracture. There are also men with scars on the hands who don’t have peyronie’s disease.

Causes of Curved Penis

Injury to the organ is primarily the cause of a curved penis. Rough sex can easily tear the penile tissue resulting in scaring. Sexual positions that hurt the penis can result in a curve. Masturbation can cause injury to the penis as well, which may curve the penis. Right handed masturbation causes the penis to curve left, while a left-hander has a curve to the right.

Trauma may satisfy the argument as to what cause peyronie’s disease. Peyronies... Curve PenisWhat it doesn’t explain is the reason why some peyronie’s disease slowly develop over time, with no known cause. There is a congenital form of peyronie’s disease with no known cause. The scar tissue develops about mid-penis, top or bottom of the shaft, so the penis angles either up or down. This type of peyronie’s disease leads to shortening of the penis.

The penis contains two spongy u-shape chambers (corpus cavernosa), on either side of the organ, which consist of blood vessels that become engorged with blood when aroused causing an erection. If one chamber is scared because of an injury, blood is unable to flow through the scared tissue to perfect an erection, so the penis bends toward the scar. There is usually no long-term effect if the injury heals properly.

Treatments for Curved Penis

Cortisone-type injections into the scar or plaque to reduce the angle has produced little or no effect. Some urologists believe super doses of vitamin E can reduce penile angulation, but real results are still pending. Surgery seems to be a better fix for the curved penis. After the scar is removed, a graft of tissue from somewhere on the body is used to repair the affected area.

The famous Nesbit procedure has been proven successful for many peyronies sufferers who elected to have surgery. 50-60 percent were able to have normal sexual intercourse again. Surgery should only be a last resort. Other treatments for peyronie’s should be considered before undertaking this big step.

Normally, peyronie’s disease requires no treatment. The scar disappears all by itself within five years. Only when painful erections prevent one from having intercourse should treatment be sought. Most treatments fail to straighten the curved penis, so waiting it out may be your best bet.

Choosing A Healthy Diet Plan

Choosing a healthy diet plan may require the services of a certified nutritionist, with medical input by your physician. This could entail two trips to the doctor’s office, and a number of sit-downs with the nutritionist, before you even get started.

This is the preferred way to start a healthy diet plan, especially if you are under a doctor’s care for diabetes, hypertension, or heart disease. Planning is essential to establish the don’ts, and to determine the extent of the do’s. You don’t want to regret not taking these initial steps later on.

After you get rolling with your diet plan, there would still be a need for occasional consultations with both professionals, to monitor your progress. They may make adjustment to your diet plan as you proceed toward your goal.

No healthy diet plan is complete without regular exercise. A personal trainer would be ideal, if you can afford one. But most people would rather become a member of a health spa or exercise gym, where personal trainer services are included in the membership fees. The services may not be too personal, but will suffice.

The nutritionist, doctor, and trainer could become a costly venture. In fact, it could cost you two arms and a leg to actually start a healthy diet plan. But thank heavens there is a way to keep your arms and leg, and pay almost nothing to achieve the same benefits.

The US Department of Agriculture and the Department of Health and Human Services announced the release of the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. The Dietary Guidelines is published jointly every 5 years by the Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

The Dietary Guidelines provides advice for all Americans two years and older about how to make healthy dietary choices. It is designed to reduce the risk of chronic diseases, overweight and obesity through improved nutrition and physical exercise.

This 7th edition of Dietary Guidelines for Americans places stronger emphasis on reducing calorie consumption and increasing physical activity and/or exercise, because more than one-third of all children and more than two-thirds of adults in the United States are overweight or obese. This edition, like previous ones, also serves as the basis for Federal food and nutrition education programs.

Structure of Food Guides

Most countries have developed some sort of food nutrition guide, for its people, establishing healthy dietary and nutrition plans to keep the nation healthy. Men Taking Dutasteride Received Better Diagnosis Of PSA Tests

So many times you would leave the urologist’s office, after having the results of a PSA test explained, filled with much uncertainty as to whether the indicators could be incorrect. Knowing that PSA screening is not a precise diagnostic instrument for determining cancer of the prostate, can lead to anxiety and depression. But those days are almost over. New research study found PSA screening is more reliable in men taking the PSA level reduction drug dutasteride.

Dutasteride is a dual 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor, approved by the FDA for the treatment of symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), better known as enlarged prostate.

A hormone, dihydrotestosterone (DHT), causes the prostate to slowly grow over time. Dutasteride slows down the production of DHT over time, leading to shrinkage of the enlarged prostate, and reducing the symptoms of BPH.

Dutasteride reduces the risk of prostate cancers by keeping the turmors small enough to avoid detection by a biopsy. Thus, men taking Dutasteride who still show a subsequent rise in PSA levels should be associated with having aggressive high-grade cancer.

This new study reveals how Dutasteride enhances the ability of rising PSA levels to detect high-grade cancers that require early diagnosis and treatment, while decreasing the detection of tumors that are harmless. However, it doesn’t mean men should take dutasteride to better PSA scores.
